About the free GSM Network

Welcome to the free Government Social Media Network! At Government Social Media®, our mission is to empower government professionals like you to excel in social media, equipping you with skills, resources, and community support—and, our Network is a great place to start.

While a lot of great collaboration happens publicly on the social networks, the GSM Network stands out because it's exclusively for full- or part-time employees of government agencies and educational institutions—consultants, freelancers and contractors are not eligible. Use your official government email address in your Join Request to speed up the approval process.
